Kerala News: KOCHI, Kerala: Chief Justice of India Justice K G Balakrishnan yesterday released a Malayalam book written by former supreme court Judge K T Thomas here yesterday.

The Chief Justice said he had long association with Justice Thomas while working at the Kerala high court and at Supreme Court. When he began practice in 1968 at Kottayam, Justice Thomas was a busy advocate moving from one place to another.

Justice Balakrishnan said the book by Thomas will be a treasure to Malayalam literature.

Former Supreme Court judge V R Krishna Iyer's felicitation speech was read at the function.

Justice Iyer said "Thomas was my friend for half a century with no motive to gain, no score to repay but for the pellucid reason that we share higher values where man matters more than money.
