Bollywood News: Lara Dutta If there is any actress in Bollywood who can do comedy convincingly on screen, she’s Lara Dutta .

Lara, who had everyone in splits with her comic flair in No Entry , has proved her mettle at tickling the funny bone in other films like Bhagam Bhaag and Partner . Now, the pretty damsel is turning seriously to comedic roles.

She has in her kitty films like David Dhawan’s Do Knot Disturb and Sajid Khan’s House Full . Her other comedy film Banda Ye Bindaas Hai is caught up in a legal wrangle. But Lara is pretty gung-ho about doing three comedy films on a trot. Hardly any other actress can boast of such a résumé.







“I love working with directors like Priyadarshan , David Dhawan and Sajid Khan …I think doing comedy is far tougher than serious roles,” Lara is quoted as saying in a media report.

Lara is also excited about her role in Sajid Khan’s ‘Houseful’. Though the film is a multi-starrer with a host of male and female actors ( Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan ), Lara claims that her role is best among the girls.
