Director Shyamaprasad, a well known name among the serious filmmakers of Kerala is finally ready with his latest offering.

Titled ‘Rithu’ the movie will be a trendy movie aimed at the youngsters. The movie narrates the story of three friends, all professionals who has to change their values and attitudes, when they face bewildering real life situations.

Scripted by Joshua Newton, the movie will feature Nishan, a product of the Film and Television Institute of India, Rima, a former Miss Kerala runner-up and model and VJ turned actor Asif Ali. The movie filmed by Shyam Dutt was shot in locations in and around Thiruvananthapuram, including Technopark.

The movie will also feature five songs set to music by Rahul Raj. The movie will be the first film distributed by “Playhouse”, the new distribution firm started by Super star Mammootty.
