Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: In a press release, LDF convenor Vaikkom Viswan today said that Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan was not invited for the LDF meet held yesterday, due to his tight schedule. He has to attend the assembly session and had other responsibilities.

The LDF meet held yesterday to discuss self financing issue, was not a complete one. Not only that the chief minister was not invited as he was very busy. The absence of VS was highlighted by the media in order to create confusion amongst the people.

The LDF meet was convened at 4 pm as the cabinet was scheduled to meet at 5 pm, he said.
