KOCHI, Kerala: To clear the extra rush of passenger traffic, Southern Railways has decided to run weekly special trains between Bangalore and Ernakulam this month.

Train No.0641 Ernakulam-Bangalore Weekly Special will leave Bangalore at 17.15 hrs on Mondays from 6th July to 27th July and arrive Bangalore at 18.30 hrs the next day.

Train No.0642 Bangalore-Ernakulam Special will leave Bangalore City at 17.15 hrs on Thrusdays from 7th July to 28th July and arrive Ernakulam Jn at 04.20 hrs the next day.

Train No.0643 Ernakulam-Bangalore Weekly Special will leave Bangalore at 18.50 hrs on Thursdays from 9th July to 30th July and arrive Bangalore at 10.00 hrs the next day.

Train No.0644 Bangalore-Ernakulam Special will leave Bangalore City at 21.15 hrs on Fridays from 10th July to 31st July to and arrive Ernakulam Jn at 06.30 hrs the next day, a railway press release said.

The above trains will stop at Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Tirupattur, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cant, it said.
