Kerala News: NEW DELHI: Opposition leader Oommen Chandy today said Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had assured to solve the uncertainty raised by the state in connection with the ASEAN Free Trade Pact.

Talking to reporters after holding talks with the prime minister, Chandy said the state’s uncertainty regarding the pact has been informed to the prime minister.

Apart from ASEAN, Chandy also discussed about the Mullapperiyar issue. The prime minister had promised to take steps to solve the issue.
