Malayalam Movie News: After Megastar Mammootty, it is Lal's opportunity to receive a honorary doctorate. Mollywood superstar Mohanlal will receive his first honorary doctorate from the Sree Sankaracharya University, Kaladi.

The university will honour the great star considering the immense contributions he has made to the Malayalam cinema. The function is scheduled to be held on the 12th of this Month.

Megastar Mammootty who received his D Litt from Kerala University will be once again honoured by Calicut University this month. He is now be conferred with a D Litt, together with captain Laskhmi, Kovilan and Habeeb Rehman.
