Kerala News: NEW DELHI: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) should inform the state before taking up cases, said Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan.
NIA taking up the cases arbitrarily will weaken the police force, said VS at the meet called to discuss internal security.
VS said that he welcomes formation of the NIA, but taking up cases without informing the state will hurt the feelings of the force. So, before taking up the cases, they should inform the state.
VS said the boats provided by the centre for the security of coastal areas are unusable.
