Kerala News: KALPETTA, Kerala: The district collector placed a board of the government in the coffee plantation claimed to be that of M V Shreyams Kumar MLA, after evicting the 57 adivasi families from it.
The adivasis had encroached 16.5 acres of land of Kalpetta MLA Shreyams Kumar’s coffee plantation in Wayanad led by a group of Adivasi Kshema Samithi (AKS) on February 6. The authorities tried their best to evict them from the land.
Revenue and police team led by Wayanad district collector T Bhaskaran and police superintendent G Sparjan Kumar used force and evicted them from the land.
