Three held in Narayanguda building collapse case

India News: HYDERABAD, India: Three persons have been arrested in connection with the collapse of a five-storeyed building at Narayanaguda here last week that claimed 13 lives, police said today.
Narayanaguda Police arrested three persons including owners of the building Aleemuddin and Kaleemuddin. All the three were produced before a local court this afternoon, an investigating official said.
"The trio were detained last night and were interrogated. Efforts were on to nab the builder, who is still absconding," a police official said.
The trio have been booked for offences under various Sections including 304A (causing death by negligence) of IPC.
Thirteen persons, mostly construction workers including an 18-month-old child, were killed and six others injured when the five-storey "unauthorised" building adjacent to a private school collapsed on Friday.
