CHENNAI, India: Sun TV airing video clippings of Swamy Nityananda having a secret sexual affair with a south Indian actress has shocked many.

Swami Nityananda, a spiritual and mystic guru to the outside world was caught in the video clip which showcased him in a sexual affair with an actress whose name begins with ‘R’. Her face was masked in the video. It has been confirmed later that the actress was Renjitha, who had acted in many south Indian films.

This incident was shocking for the entire people who believed him as a real spiritual person for all these years. The clippings triggered many questions about him, his background and real life style. The video clearly explains that Nityananda is a fraud like other spiritual gurus. The video shows the guru taking drugs and sleeping with the actress. There were already speculations that the guru was charging too much for spiritual retreat and camps. This incident would break the hearts of many mainly his followers.

The 32 year old guru was born in 1978 in Tamil Nadu. He experimented with yoga, tantra, vedanta and other eastern metaphysical sciences, from the age of 3. He is the founder of Dhyanapeetam, a worldwide movement for meditation and healing. The foundation has its spiritual headquarters in Bangalore.

In 2007, he was elected chairman of the Hindu University of America, also known as the International Vedic Hindu University, an institution in the U.S. state of Florida.
