Kerala News: NEW DELHI, Eleven policemen from Kerala were among the winners of the President’s Police Medal on Wednesday for distinguished and meritorious services announced on eve of the Republic Day.

Additional DGPs M.N. Krishna Moorthy, Vijayanand and IG Jose Varghese have been conferred with the Police Medals for distinguished service.

Eight Malayalis who won the Police Medals for meritorious service are Superintendent of police TJ Jose, G. Somashekar, C.P. Gopakumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police S Rajendran, Assistant sub-inspector K Appukuttan, TT Varki inashu, J Stephanson, Senior civil Police officer K parameshwaran pillai.
